Bunged Up

...which is a pity because we had hoped they'd continue having an affiliate program and we could be good for business in the long term.

Incidentally, there is no disgrace associated with being on this page as a "bunged up affiliate merchant page"! Chances are we'd like you back! So, how about starting a new affiliate program?! Also, please note that there are many possible reasons for a page being bunged up, and not all of these are to do with ceasing to have an affiliate program.

Another thing about this page: It provides an excellent opportunity for people at enterprising affiliate marketing companies to chase up potential new business by contacting the companies on the list and asking them if they'd like a new affiliate program. If you're doing this and you succeed, please let us know so we can put some new code on the pages to link them up again!

Other notes:

* There is no inference intended that the companies on this page are closed or have gone broke or have gone out of business. Most of them are alive and well, but they've stopped having an affiliate program for one reason or another. However, if you'd like to see a few well-known companies that have gone into Administration, see the Ex-Shopping Portal!

* An affiliate is not just for christmas, and really once you've made the committment to have an affiliate program you should continue with having some sort of affiliate program on an ongoing basis.

* If you find your company is on this list, don't grumble; instead, resume having an affiliate program and let's put some links back on the page!

* Reasons for a company (or other page) appearing on this list include: Affiliate program having ended, the company having gone, the terms and conditions of the new affiliate program being unacceptable for one reason or another so we won't sign up, the name having changed or the product line having changed, the company declining our request to be on the new affiliate program, the company expelling us from their affiliate program for their own reasons, there being a communications mix-up or other confusion, or it could even be a mistake! These things can be rectified, but it can sometimes take a while.

* Sometimes a company is Corked rather than bunged up. This implies the page is only stopped-up temporarily, whereas pages that are bunged up are likely to remain that way until we hear otherwise.

* If your company is on this page but your affiliate program is up and running and the page has links on it, please say, and a "Welcome Back!" will be added. Also, if you spot any of the companies mentioned are LIVE again here, please say, and the list will be adjusted accordingly.

* This isn't a list of all previous affiliate programs we've had. The ones on here are only those that have a dedicated page, (although that is most of them).

* If you'd prefer that affiliate marketing companies don't keep asking you about having a new affiliate program, please let us know, and a note will be added next to the link to say as much.

* If you are working for an affiliate marketing company and you'd like to tempt some of these merchants to join your merchant portfolio at your affiliate marketing company, please don't approach them in alphabetical order starting at the top of the list. If everyone did that, then Aardvark & Co would get pestered by too many people and Zebra Ltd wouldn't get a look-in. Instead, if you like alphabetical order, pick a random start point, and when you reach the end, loop back to the beginning. That way it's fairer to all.

* We get on well with almost everyone!
